Waiheke has been proudly ‘GE-free’ for decades; now opponents to the Gene Technology Bill are warning that changing Aotearoa’s genetic engineering stance would be to open a gate we might never close again.

Parliament’s Health Committee is calling for submissions on the Gene Technology Bill, with a closing date of 17 February.
