he kōura population in Waiheke waters is on the rebound, after last year’s drop in numbers, with a 43 percent increase since 2025.
Now in its sixth year, the results of the Waiheke Marine Project kōura survey were shared during their annual hui, held at Palm Beach Hall last weekend.
