Local chef Elmer Castillo has been nominated among the top ten finalists for the Emerging Global Filipino Icon 2026 award.
The prestigious award recognises the contribution and influence of Filipino people globally and is hosted annually by the Global Filipino Magazine, based in Dubai.
Elmer, of Oneroa’s popular gourmet burger bar Too Fat Buns, was selected from nearly 200 entries worldwide.
