The Waiheke Rams U90kg open age were looking for a bounce back win when they travelled to Paparoa Park on Saturday to take on the Howick Hornets. A few fresh faces provided reinforcements to replace a number of players on the injury list, including Ben Kara and Kegan Pitkenthley from the U85 Pirates whose season has come to an early conclusion. Derek Carpenter, Ian Moroney and Trent Beauchamp also returned to the squad.
