Kotahi Aroha celebrated another successful year as breathtaking kapa haka and waiata rang out from Piritahi Marae on Sunday. The annual festival saw nine kura perform to usher in Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, now in its 50th year.
This year’s festival was hosted by Waiheke Primary and the kura’s deputy principal, Olive Kerr, described the event’s success as “incredibly uplifting.”
