It was another packed night at Te Huruhi School, which hosted the annual Junk to Funk sustainable fashion show last Saturday. The nearly 400 guests who attended the sold out show enjoyed unique sustainable designs from both adults and rangatahi, who proved that fashion can be made with almost anything and still protect the planet.
The winner of the Just Plastic category (for 5 to 15 years old and 16+) was awarded to Nina Landhuis for her Recycled Bottle Top Gown made of plastic bottle tops.
