Plans are under way for work to improve the stormwater network in Blackpool and reduce the risk of flooding in the area.
“Auckland Council’s Healthy Waters and Flood Resilience department has been working to improve the stormwater network around the flat areas of the Blackpool catchment in Waiheke Island to reduce flood risks,” says Maisa Aldeen, Auckland Council’s senior Healthy Waters specialist.
