This Saturday 19 July the Ostend Domain will be heaving with lovers of rugby league, including many of those who have been part of the Waiheke Rams over the first forty years of their existence says player and anniversary celebrations co-organiser Justin Moroney.
Waiheke Sports Club members have been busy sprucing up the clubrooms at the Causeway in preparation for the big day, including fixing a lot of holes in the front of the building where people have backed into the wall. “We’ve been painting inside and putting up some of our old memorabilia, they’ve been going hard over the weekend, and we will do a little bit more this week just to get things over the line,” says Justin.
