Waiheke Island Pony Club was due to celebrate its 50th anniversary this weekend but the planned ‘Yellowstone’ themed party has been postponed after a devastating fire ripped through their Blackpool facility.
Club representative Carla Robinson says last Saturday [10 February] the evening sun shone on the club grounds as young riders tended their ponies and began packing up for the day.
