To cater for the projected influx of boaties into the Hauraki Gulf this summer, a floating waste barge will be stationed at Man O’War Bay from 23 December to 8 February.
The initiative, first started in 1993, aims to encourage recreational and leisure boaties to manage and recycle their rubbish responsibly.
