Dolphins claimed Kennedy Point as their realm last Thursday, coming within centimetres of the beach near the car ferry.
A pod of about six bottlenose dolphins, including a mother, a playful baby and several large males, swam near the beach for much of the day, delighting many passengers at the wharf. • Rose Davis
