In an unusual step, Auckland Council has decided to adjust rate valuations for 120 Onetangi properties, even where the owners have not objected to their valuation.
The move comes after the council found the properties in the Onetangi beachfront area had been unfairly assessed while clearing an objections “hotspot”.
