Seventeen-year-old Ostend resident Hannah Thompson, who is in her final year at St Mary’s College in Ponsonby, spent New Year’s Eve a little differently from many teenagers. From 28 December 2024 to 7 January 2025, she was aboard a tall ship, taking part in the Spirit of Adventure programme.
“I thought it would be a really cool way to come into 2025,” she explains.
