Ngāti Paoa Trust Board co-chair Danella Roebeck says the board is the sole trustee of the Waiheke Station Trust, and the proper process for dissolving it is through the Māori Land Court with argeement from the beneficial owners.

Ngāti Paoa Trust Board are settling in for a land occupation, as they continue to fight the inclusion of the Waiheke Station farm in the Ngāti Paoa Claims Settlement Bill.  The bill was scheduled for its third and final reading in Parliament on Wednesday 5 November, just after this issue went to print.
