Under Auckland Transport’s proposed agreement, the Waiheke Local Board will get 80 percent of the revenue from the 100 carparks at Mātiatia, in front of Ahipao.

The Waiheke Local Board is set to collect over $40,000 a year in a revenue sharing agreement for Mātiatia set to begin next month.

In a 15 September memo, Auckland Transport informed the local board of a proposed revenue sharing agreement for the gravel section of the Mātiatia carpark, by Ahipao.
