Waihekeans are being called to join a protest demanding a ban on bottom trawling in the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park on 11 April.
The Show Your Heart flotilla is jointly led by Forest & Bird and Greenpeace.
Forest & Bird Hauraki Gulf coordinator Bianca Ranson says they are excited for the event to go live and are confident that this year’s flotilla will be even bigger and better than a previous protest in 2023.
