The Waiheke Walking Festival is now just over a week away and while many of the walks are fully subscribed, there are still spaces on plenty of great walks up for grabs.

Kicking off the festival on 20 March is the 8km Te Whau Coastal Loop Walk that explores the stunning and lesser-known Te Whau coastal tracks with gorgeous beaches known only to the locals and beautiful Hitapa Bay, Okoka Bay and Kuakarau Reserve.
