Easter weekend saw the return of the Waiheke Jazz and Blues Festival, held this year at Goldie Estate and Batch Winery. Ex-tropical Cyclone Tam disrupted the festivities, meaning Friday’s event had to be rescheduled due to high winds and ferry cancellations, but organiser John Quigley was quick to respond, combining the Good Friday Groove with the Jazz Sundowner on Sunday at Goldie Estate, with two stages playing simultaneously.
