A workshop on seed sowing is a chance for Waiheke gardeners, and aspiring gardeners, to fast-track their skills. Waiheke horticulturist Eddie Welsh will demonstrate how to plant seedlings, creating ideal conditions for germination and how to safely transplant seedlings at the Sustainability Centre on Sunday 18 August.
Eddie has had a successful career in horticulture. Originally from the US, he undertook an apprenticeship at the University of California, specialising in horticulture.
