Lucila Little will teach natural dyeing techniques at Owhanake’s Nourish Gardens on Sunday 2 February.

February brings the chance to draw inspiration from nature and learn the art of dyeing fabric naturally amongst the beautiful blooms at Owhanake’s Nourish Gardens. On Sunday 2 February, Nourish head gardener and clothing designer Lucia Little will teach sustainable plant-based dyeing techniques to create one-of-a-kind clothing and breathe fresh life into tired pre-loved favourites.

Ten years ago, Lucila chose Waiheke as her forever home. She says the island helped her reconnect with nature and determined to do more to protect it.
