The cost of building a house is rising as construction costs soar to new heights on Waiheke, say local builders.
Three local builders, who have asked not to be named for the purposes of this story, told Gulf News that higher fuel prices are driving the “high costs” of procuring timber, concrete and other building materials, and construction work overall.
